Yes, Apple. The Mac guys. Apple is probably the kings when it comes to movie trailers. All of the videos have excellent quality and sound as they use Quicktime. Yep, you need to have quicktime installed to watch the trailers but it’s worth it. Who doesn’t have quicktime installed nowadays anyway?

ComingSoon.net doesn’t actually host too many trailers themselves, but they do have links to all the latest trailers and they are updated daily. I have no idea how they keep on top of this, but they do a brilliant job.

TRAILER ADDICT
Part of the Break Media Empire, Trailer Addict is less than a year old (Started Dec 2007) and already has over 1 million visitors per month. When you visit the site you will see why. All of their trailers are hosted on their own servers and are all flash videos. They even give you the code to embed movie trailers on your own site, if you have one. Trailer Addict is a great source for the latest trailers, make sure you check them out.

HOLLYWOOD.COM
Hollywood.com is also pretty quick to bring the latest trailers. However, it can take a while to watch the trailer. The site does ask a lot of questions about your connection type before starting the trailer itself. This can kinda be a little annoying after a while.

YAHOO!
I put Yahoo! at number 5 because I expect a lot more from Yahoo! The video quality isn’t the greatest as they use a flash player and I always seem to have problems when it comes to watching the trailer. It stalls, freezes, slows down and is generally rubbish. Yahoo! have such a large array of sources available to them, I would like to see a better effort from them. Yahoo! does pick up the occasional exclusive trailer which is the only reason why they made it on the list, but the playback just irritates me. Maybe you will have better luck than I do when it comes to watching them.

My wife is always busting my chops about seeing “girlie” movies. They drive me up the wall. 27 Dresses, for example, is one of those crap movies. But she is my wife. If I don’t see these crappy movies it means I won’t get any action in the sack. It’s a small sacrifice I make to get some boob.

However, things are changing. Crappy movies for the chicks are starting to make things a little easier for us guys. For instance, Vicky Christina Barcelona is about to come out. It stars Scarlett Johansson (hornbag), Penelope Cruz (had sex with Tom Cruise, FAIL!) and some goobie guy. The thing about this movie is the hot lesbian action between Scarlett and Penelope. Check out the trailer below and you will see the action at around the 2 minute mark.

The best way to go about this and score some awesome browning points is to tell the wife “You always like those girly movies, did you want to go see Vicky Christina Barcelona?”
Not only will she think you are a legend for prompting this, you are guaranteed some sweet action when you get home! You can thank me later.

Oh my god. Please. Somebody rip my eyes out of their sockets and feed them to a small rabid dog. Tropic Thunder sucked! I borrowed the DVD from my sister after hearing mixed reports about the movie. Some people were saying that it was hilarious and some people were saying that it was crap.
I sat down with my wife to watch Tropic Thunder after a lovely meal that she had made especially for me. (My favorite, Carbornara). To top the night off we decided to sit down and enjoy the movie. We both like Ben Stiller and we both think Jack Black is hilarious, especially in Shallow Hal. Hell, even Tom Cruise was supposed to be brilliant in this. I dont even like Tom Cruise, but he was hilarious in Goldmember. But Tropic Thunder was really bad. It was so bloody boring. I ended up stepping outside to take the clothes off of the line just to get away from it. Yes, you are reading this correctly. I chose manual labor over watching a “comedy”!
In the end, we ended up stopping the movie and throwing the new season of Scrubs into the DVD player and sit back and enjoy some good laughs…

Possibly the greatest film ever made is finally on Blu-Ray, Ghostbusters. Every dude should have this movie in their collection. If they dont, then Im sorry, they aint a real dude.

Now, I cant seem to find too much on the web on what you can expect to see on the DVD, but I did manage to find this $5 off Voucher!

Ghostbusters on Blu Ray will be released on June 16, 2009. Pre-Order now from Amazon for about $20!

Has it really been 25 years since Delirious came out?

For some of you younger chaps who visit Dude World Order, you may be thinking to yourself that Eddie Murphy is NOT funny. And I would have to agree with you. He isn’t funny…anymore. But back in the day, Eddie Murphy was fucking hilarious. Back when he didnt make crappy family friendly movies. Eddie Murphy: Delirious – 25th Anniversary is like stepping back in time when Eddie Murphy didnt give a shit about anything. Everyone was a target and it was a cack.

If you have not seen Delirious, then you dont know Eddie Murphy.

Someone please get me a bullet. Please bludgeon me to death with a blunt object so I don’t have to watch 27 Dresses again.

I like to think that I am a good husband. Tonight, my wife asks me to grab a DVD because there isn’t anything on TV.
I ask “What would you like to see?”
Her responses are “Either Atonement or 27 Dresses“.
Already, you can see my dilemma. Both movies have the potential to be crap, but both movies have some hot babes. Katherine Heigl or Keira Knightley, who to choose? Off to Blockbuster I go. I walk around picking up both movies and examining them both. I also pick up The Darjeeling Limited with Owen Wilson in it.
But, I put that back down knowing that the missus wanted something else. I sigh, choose 27 Dresses, pay the pimply kid at Blockbuster and head home. We enjoy a nice dinner and put the movie on. Right from the start I knew it was going to suck. I was hoping that watching Katherine Heigl would help ease my pain. She didn’t. I thought “Hopefully she will get her cans out”. She did not.
Now, I like Katherine, she was great in Knocked Up, but she really let me down in this movie. I couldn’t wait for it to end. I was counting the minutes, counting the seconds but it just dragged on and on and on.
Guys, don’t hire this movie. It is too painful. Get your wife/girlfriend to choose something else. Trust me on this one. If you are rewarded with sex afterwards, then well done.
However, if you are not, dont say I didnt warn you…

Everybodys favorite 7th Heavener, well, my favorite person from the show. Not that I watched the show. Well, I did. but only for Jessica Biel.

Fuck me. Justin Timberlake is on lucky son of a bitch. He gets to pound Jessica Biel whenever he wants too. Except when her “Aunt Flo” is over once a month, but I bet during that week she gives the best fucking head jobs ever.

Anyway, here she is in all her glory for her new film, Powder Blue. The title of the movie makes it sound so fucking boring, but after seeing this I plan to take a box of tissues and whack out some bad boys all over the seat in front of me.
